Summer Fun and Activity

Another quiet week here at GKC, we are still working hard preparing for the new academic year, but we don’t have any student activity to tell you about. However we do have a couple of events you might be interested in.

Summer Carnival Parade

The Parade will leave The Bridge, Platform Glasgow in Easterhouse at 12.00 pm and festivities will continue in Auchinlea Park and Provanhall House Glasgow throughout the afternoon! As well as a parade there will also be children’s activities and sports tasters, community stalls, a local market and live music. For more details of the day please visit the Platform website or the Platform Facebook Event. Here are a few picture of what you could see and get involved in. Marketing staff went along to the Festival Day in Alexandria Park on the 25th of July. A lovely blue sky day with fun being had by all.

Send us your summer pictures and show us how busy you have been and we will post them to our Facebook page and include them in a future blog post. Email your picture, along with your name, course (past, present or future) and what you were doing / where you were to tborland@glasgowkelvin.ac.uk

That’s us for now, but see you back here next week for another blog update.
